Talks by Michael Reikersdorfer

I bring
the day-to-day reality.

Building software, making decisions, finding mistakes. A great deal happens at PROPUP that is worth talking about.

I take your audience behind the scenes: what can we build ourselves with AI? What does it really cost to run? And what would I do differently today? In my main talk, we also build live.

Three topics
I enjoy speaking about.

  • The tools your team has been waiting years for

Why small internal applications get left behind in almost every company, what has changed since 2025, and what the shift costs and delivers in concrete terms. Including an on-stage demonstration: a finished tool built live in ten minutes.

45 to 60 minutes. For business evenings, association events and leadership conferences.

  • What artificial intelligence really costs in day-to-day operations

Figures from running a platform with almost thirty services: computing costs, model costs and the bills nobody budgets for. Plus the mistakes that cost us money and what they taught us.

30 to 45 minutes. For audiences who already know the hype and want to see evidence.

  • We built it. An honest account

Not advice, but an account of what happened: how an idea became a platform serving two national markets, what went wrong along the way, and which decisions I would make differently today.

45 minutes. For conferences and events with mixed professional audiences.

Who is
in the audience?

That is the first thing I want to know. Tell me about your event, your guests and the questions on their minds. Then we can see which topic fits.

What I need at the venue

  • A projector or large screen with HDMI in 16:9 format.
  • For audiences of around fifty people or more, a lapel microphone. That leaves both hands free for a live demo.
  • Internet access. For the demo, I bring my own mobile connection and a recorded version as a fallback.
  • Access to the room twenty minutes before the start.
